Calibration of ultrasonic measurement equipment
We are able to provide hydrophone calibrations accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the range 1 MHz to 30 MHz.
If you use hydrophones or radiation force balances (RFB), you’ll already be aware of the need for periodic recalibration of devices. Most IEC standards recommend a recalibration interval of no more than one year and Precision Acoustics can assist with this.
We are able to provide hydrophone calibrations that are accredited to ISO/IEC 17025:2017 in the range 1 MHz to 30 MHz.
If you are using your measurement equipment for the declaration of the output of medical equipment, we strongly recommend obtaining a calibration from a National Measurement Laboratory (e.g. NPL) since this provides lower experimental uncertainty.
