Precision Acoustics demonstrates their cavitation monitoring system at IUS 2026 in Raleigh

Those fortunate enough to have been present in Raleigh 4-8th October 2026 will have seen Precision Acoustics new Cavitation monitoring system in action alongside the PowerDrive multi-channel drive system.

We have offered passive cavitation detectors to our customers for a long time; however, these specialist sensors require users to supply high-speed acquisition hardware such as an oscilloscope and interpret the resultant data. For well-stocked laboratories this might not be an issue, but for a large number of users the lack of a plug-and-play solution has been limiting.

We are now pleased to be able to offer a complete solution for monitoring cavitation based around our signature passive cavitation detectors incorporating acquisition and analysis for instant detection, visualisation and monitoring of both inertial and non-inertial cavitation.

Supplied as a cost-effective system comprising of an interchangeable range of sensors to suit all environments and a built-in acquisition centre with analysis software, the user no longer needs any additional equipment to detect and monitor cavitation events.

With an industrial mode for instant red/green status indicator and a research mode allowing visualisation of harmonics, sub harmonics and ultra harmonics the Cavitation Monitor is now a widely applicable tool.
