Most commercial Radiation Force Balance's use a reflecting target which give inherently inaccurate results. The National Physical Laboratory in London has developed two products for use as absorbing targets for RFB's and hence improve the accuracy and repeatability of acoustic power measurements.

Aptflex F28P pyramidal structured absorber for radiation force for acoustic power above 2W but below 20W.
