Before any calibration is undertaken Precision Acoustics inspects and tests the hydrophone to ensure it is working correctly. We remove lime scale from hydrophones and ensure that all connectors are properly terminated. This service is free of charge, even when the calibration is to be made by the National Physical Laboratory. When more serious faults are found we will issue a quotation for repair or replacement. Where possible we will give significant discounts for the replacement of damaged or very old products.
